At 25madison, I work with our team and our portfolio companies to build great businesses. As a lifelong entrepreneur, I've seen what works and what doesn’t work, over and over again. Now, I help entrepreneurs and our team avoid many of the pitfalls I’ve seen and experienced. I also work with our Board and Founders to set our overall strategy and make sure that the areas where we focus have positive impact and can generate great returns.
I’m a lifelong learner and entrepreneur. I've built businesses that have become public companies (twice), have been sold to large corporations and some that have been less successful. I've founded companies in media, telecommunications and business services, but now, I'm thinking most about business opportunities that tackle loneliness, aging, the future of work, preparedness and healthy living.
What I Do
At 25m Health, I work with our team, entrepreneurs and LifePoint Health to build transformative healthcare startups. I have spent more than 15 years operating and investing in early-stage companies across several industries, especially healthcare. Prior to being named the Head of Studio at 25m Health, I was chosen as the first CEO of ThriveAP, a nurse education and training startup. Beforehand, I served as Chief Financial Officer at MetaPhy Health, a provider of virtual care services to patients of gastroenterology practices, and as Principal at Solidus Company, LP, where I sourced and qualified venture investments and served on the board of several portfolio companies.
About Me
I am an entrepreneur at heart. I have started several businesses that were successful and others that were not. I’m passionate about supporting early-stage entrepreneurs. I’m a die-hard formula 1 fan. As time allows, I also restore sports cars and travel with my young family.
What I do
I’m extremely passionate about improving access to healthcare and creating delightful user experiences. I co-founded GetSnooze, a sleep medicine company that has helped 3,000+ patients get virtually treated for their sleep disorders across NY, CA, FL, NJ, & VA; driving a projected ~$22M in healthcare savings. At IBM and Deloitte, I helped incubate new product and service offerings at multi-billion-dollar global companies.
About me
I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Outside of building healthtech companies, I enjoy lifting weights, cooking, meditating, painting, reading, and gaming (mostly FIFA and COD). I also consider myself a foodie and love exploring delicious restaurants.
What I do: I love finding new ways to better serve customers by solving unmet needs. I enjoy helping our incubations figure out what to create first, acquire their first set of users, and build a monetization strategy. I'm especially passionate about Financial Technology and products that expand economic opportunity.
About me: I'm a proud New Jersey native who has spent time living in Baltimore, San Francisco, and Boston. I traveled and worked in India & Nigeria and draw energy from seeing the positive impact new technology can have on people's lives. I'm a die-hard ice hockey fan (go Devils!), American politics nerd, and enthusiastic debater of issues people care about.
What I Do
I am passionate about building products which help bridge the gaps in today’s healthcare system. I started my professional career in behavioral health clinical research where I learned valuable skills necessary for conducting clinical research studies and interacting with patients. Since then, I have been leading product teams in strategy, design, and launches for early-stage healthcare startups. I have launched various solutions for health plans, providers, and patients in markets such as patient diagnostics, healthcare communications, telehealth, and digital therapeutics. I am driven everyday by building solutions that improve the lives of patients, clinicians, and our healthcare workers.
About Me
When I am not researching startups, emerging technology, and neuroscience, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and participating in outdoor activities such as riding my horse, fly fishing, hiking, and photography. I’ve lived in Nashville, TN the last decade of my life and love live music and sports of all kind.
What I do
At 25madison, I work across the early-stage incubation and investment of healthcare technology opportunities. On the side I lead A-Level Capital, a student-run $2M fund, supporting and investing in Johns Hopkins affiliated entrepreneurs. What excites me most is working with passionate entrepreneurs and disruptive technology/business models that seek to make the world a more sustainable and healthy place to live.
About me
I was born in Toronto, Canada as the oldest of three siblings to Korean immigrant parents. I then moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania when I was 6 years old. I volunteer with West Side United, a non-profit in Chicago tackling the social determinants of health, and at Family Pillars Hospice, providing end-of-life care to the elderly. These collective experiences seeing healthcare from different lenses have inspired my long-term career aspirations to support patients' holistic needs as a physician-entrepreneur. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, attempting to do ballet, and giving haircuts.
What I do
My role in 25m Health is to help our incubations and investments flourish in their technology journey. I partner up with founders to bring Talent, Technology, and Strategy to an apex. I particularly enjoy rolling up my sleeves and helping our founders deliver software, bricklaying architecture, and framing abstractions. My superpower is recruiting engineering talent and building engaging developer cultures (DX).
About Me
At my heart, I'm an innovator and complex problem solver. I write code every day and have enjoyed the recent renaissance in front-end tech. The big picture is my favorite place to explore, and I like leveraging my long tenure in health tech, building engineering teams, and launching new products to create wins. When I'm not working on startups, you can catch me on the ice playing hockey or building furniture using my welding or woodworking equipment.
What I Do
As a UX Designer for 25m Health, my work puts users first and aims to provide them with solutions that improve their lives. I seek to design products that generate new ideas and innovate solutions within healthcare technology. I love problem-solving and thrive in work that benefits the world around me.
Who I Am
I’m originally from Orlando, Florida, but now happily call Nashville, Tennessee home. I love to explore new places - whether locally or by traveling to a new destination. As a creative, I remain curious to see more and find inspiration in the world around me and the experiences I find myself in. You can find me going for a run, enjoying live music, working on an art project, or trying a new recipe.
At 25madison, I work across teams helping with ideation, customer research and product development. I spend most of my time either exploring early stage opportunities, unearthing customer needs and building sustainable businesses around them, or pushing our incubated startups toward launch.
A tinkerer and builder from an early age, I’ve always been excited about great design and any sort of prototyping. Between my 3D printer, calligraphy machine and sewing machine, my apartment is quickly turning into a small, personal maker space. When I’m not prototyping, you can find me seeking out new cultures and experiences, traveling whenever possible.
