25madison

Today, we’re excited to announce our eight summer interns at 25madison. The program has yielded many of our full-time team members: Merrill Anovick, Grant Silow, Rebekah Foster, & Alex Toporek. Our interns have also gone on to start companies that make it into our portfolio (shoutout to Noah Gray, CEO of Onda). The program has also made introductions to our incubation leadership: Ben Putzer is now an early employee at Cuely. We love it when our interns join the 25madison family on a more permanent basis!

Our interns jump right in! They work closely on our internal incubations, gain exposure to our studio and venture investing arms, do independent deep dives on industries we’re interested in, and sometimes even arrive at their own incubation ideas. We believe the 25madison Intern Program is unique in the opportunity it affords our interns to gain experience in all our ecosystem’s activities: building, operating, and investing.

MBA Interns

Jack Lazarus

Jack joins us from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Before pursuing his MBA, Jack was at Snapchat for four years and held various roles on the Business Solutions team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Corporate Strategy from Vanderbilt University. This summer, Jack will be leveraging his go-to-market and startup experience to help launch an incubation and evaluate other potential investments.

Matt is an MBA candidate at Wharton. He’s pursuing a dual concentration in Quantitative Finance and Healthcare Management. He holds degrees in both Economics and Biology from Brown, and spent time in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, private equity at Genstar Capital and entrepreneurship at Acuant, an Audax Private Equity company, which exited in November 2021. Matt will be using his finance and entrepreneurship background to diligence, incubate and invest in startups.

Gustell Preston

Like Jack & Matt, Gustell is joining us from the University of Pennsylvania where she is pursuing both an MBA and an MS in Integrated Product Design from the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. As an undergraduate, Gustell studied Political Science, Global Studies, and Spanish at UNC- Chapel Hill. She started her career at Deloitte where she led strategy projects for government, commercial, and nonprofit executive clients as a Senior Consultant. This summer, Gustell is bringing her background in product design and strategy to support our incubations, conduct research on potential investments, and ideate on new business ideas.

Parul Singh

Prior to HBS, Parul spent five years at Facebook, as a Senior Software Engineer and then a Senior Product Manager. This summer, Parul will apply her product management and software development expertise to internal incubations as well as to evaluate new incubation concepts and potential investments.

Undergraduate Interns

Ally August

Ally is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. She is studying Psychology and pursuing minors in Consumer Psychology and Urban Education. She is very excited to be working at 25madison this summer and hopes to advance her understanding of social media as a tool for consumer marketing. She is especially interested in early-stage venture and is eager to work with our entrepreneurial management teams. Her first project is working with Coterie, an elevated party supplies company, focusing on its social media and customer service strategies.

Jacob Ehrenkranz

Jacob is a rising junior at Brown University, studying Economics and Middle Eastern Studies and playing for Brown’s Men’s Rugby team. He leads Brown’s student-run startup accelerator, Innovation Dojo, and is an educator for Bruno Finance Society. Jacob is also a member of the Brown Entrepreneurship Program where he has spearheaded “Synapse” events connecting entrepreneurs from around the world to up-and-coming Brown entrepreneurs. He will look to leverage his early-stage business-advisory experience to work with 25madison’s incubations.

Brett has a love and passion for the startup space having previously interned with Loeb.nyc and worked for Entrepreneur Magazine’s ‘How Success Happens Podcast.’ In addition to his work at 25madison, Brett runs bulletpitch, an email newsletter that writes about disruptive startups shaping the next generation.

Caroline Press

Caroline is a rising freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, joining us for a few weeks this summer. This past year, she took a gap year to take part in Aardvark Israel, a combined academic and tech internship program out of Tel Aviv. During her time in Israel, Caroline interned at a travel tech start-up, expanding her coding skills. She is very interested in coding and the start-up/incubator world. This summer, Caroline hopes to work closely with 25m team members, learn as much as possible, and get a sense of what tech-driven career opportunities are open for her to pursue after she graduates.

Work with us

Building businesses is in our DNA. We’re a small but mighty team of tinkerers, designers, geeks (the cool kind), operators, business moguls and everything in between. Wildly strategic, yet so deep into it that we’ve got the scars to prove it.

Whether it's with the 25m Studio, 25madison Ventures, or 25m Health, we’re looking for great people who love their work, solving problems, and having fun. Jerks need not apply.
